Manticore

I absolutely adore hybrids.
Mixing human and animal bodies gives so much fun and so many possibilities!

So this is my interpretation of the Manticore.
They can be winged, they can be more human. I think that this species could vary from a winged lion with a scorpion's tail and a human face to one of my "boys".
After all - the scorpion's tail is what's that all about

The lady is the mage trying to get some ancient wisdom from this magical creatures. She propably doesn't know yet, how expensive and painful can this knowledge be...
